Save Gather after your magic link.

Gather works like an app once it is installed, but install it after you have received your magic link and signed in. That way the saved icon opens the right household from the start.

Get a magic link
Wait to install until you can open Gather from your sign-in email.

If you install too early, your phone may save the public marketing page instead of your signed-in app. Open the magic link first, confirm you can see your household, then add Gather to your Home Screen or install it from the browser.

Request your link

Use the login button and enter the same email that was invited or approved for your household.

Open the email

Tap the magic link from your phone or tablet. Let Gather finish loading and confirm you are signed in.

Install the app

  • iPhone/iPad: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
  • Android: Chrome → menu → Install app or Add to Home screen.
  • Desktop: Chrome/Edge → install icon in the address bar.
